About Us

Company History

Christies Care is a privately owned care agency, established in 1987, specialising in giving round the clock care to dependent adults in their own homes.

We have grown to become one of the largest specialist agencies for live-in care in the UK.

Our teams include over 140 care workers who we employ for our contracts with Local Authorities and several hundred self-employed care assistants who we introduce to privately funded clients through our employment agency service.

Our head office support team of around 90 staff is based in Saxmundham, Suffolk, where we have invested in a bespoke training centre for care assistants with onsite accommodation whilst they train. Our clients are also welcome to come and stay and see our training facilities.

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and work closely with Social Services Departments and health professionals. We are accredited to Investors in People.

Christies Care supports Breast Cancer Care and our employees have raised over £1,400. We also take part in the annual Jeans for Genes fundraising day.
