5. What experience do I need ?
We always have clients who want a mature lady care assistant who is a competent home-keeper and companion. Ideally, she can drive.
All our care assistants must be able to make meals, clean the house, do the washing and ironing, shopping and general household management tasks to make certain that the client is safe and well over the weeks you will be staying with your client.
Your training with us will cover many aspects of personal care as well as introduction to a wide range of disabilities.
Most of our clients have quite severe problems and the successful care assistant is experienced and skilled in personal care, including continence management and the abilitiy to look after the effects of severe physical or mental disabilities.
We must be confident that you will be a success. You will have to show us at your interview and during training that you have the right mental attitude and experience to be a good care assistant.

6. How old must I be ?
We have very few care assistants under 21 years old, and very few care assistants over 65 years old. Your experience and attitude is, however, more important than your age.
