On Friday 20th April, 2018 Christies Care is organising a Community Day of activities for the elderly and people with learning disabilities and autism between 10am and 3pm at Trinity Park in Ipswich.
Once again, Circus Petite will have a one-off performance which will include the amazing Justo the Clown, jugglers, rope walking, hula-hooping, magic, fire displays and lots more. This is specially tailored to be suitable for people with learning disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder.
There will also be pamper sessions available throughout the day from Suffolk New College.
The event is completely free to attend, although advance booking is essential.
Lin Barnes, Director at Christies Care, explains:
“Following two successful events for adults with learning disabilities with Circus Petite over the last two years, we’re excited to have widened the activities we offer to extend the fun and sense of occasion to the elderly.
We want to create an environment that is welcoming, entertaining and filled with joy. A good day out for all concerned.
A huge thank you to Trinity Park for providing their facilities free of charge in support of this event.”
David Bean, co-founder of Circus Petite, said:
“We’re thrilled to be working with Christies Care on another, even bigger event. The last two events have brought joy to so many and been great fun for our performers.
We’re looking forward to a great event to top off our Easter tour!”
