When it comes to the equipment that is available for people with disabilities, one size doesn’t always fit all. But unfortunately what is readily available can often be limited.
The clever people at Remap are working hard to change this. A national charity working in local hubs to “help people with disabilities achieve independence and a better quality of life” Their website goes on to say “We make or modify equipment when nothing suitable is available from mainstream sources”.
We heard about Remap through one of our clients who is in contact with them and were so impressed we wanted to pass on their information in case you or someone you know might need their help. Or you are able to offer your skills as a volunteer. Some of the case studies on their website are truly inspiring.
