On November 2nd, 2017 Lin, Alison and Lauren from Christies Care attended the presentation ceremony for The Princess Royal Training Awards 2017.

Held at St James’s Palace the ceremony recognised an elite group of 40 recipients including public and private sector businesses of all sizes, from areas including hospitality, healthcare, finance and manufacturing.

Each of the 116 applications was assessed against three Hallmarks of Excellence by the Princess Royal Training Awards Commission, which is made up of HRH The Princess Royal and seven leading figures in the business and training community.

“The assessment process for these awards was extremely thorough and I’m extremely proud of our team and our industry-leading training programme. It was a great honour to receive the award from Princess Anne and to celebrate with my hardworking team.”
Lin Barnes, Registered Manager, Christies Care
“It was an honour to be invited to St James’s Palace and see Lin collect the award from HRH Princess Anne. It really was a day to remember.”
Alison Hawkins, Training Team Leader, Christies Care
“The ceremony itself was exquisite. From Her Royal Highness’ speech to the champagne tea and networking session, the day was thoroughly enjoyable. I’m proud to work for a company which is so dedicated to the training of its carers and feel privileged to have had the opportunity to attend the awards which recognised us for doing so.”
