Once again the staff at Christies Care joined thousands around the country on Friday, October 19th to “Wear it Pink” in support of breast cancer research.
This year we were also raising funds for the Blossom Appeal at the Ipswich Hospital.
We held a raffle with prizes in abundance which were very kindly donated by our local shops and members of staff.
Members of staff also baked some lovely cakes and savouries which were sold and went down well with the morning and afternoon cuppa.
And of course we dressed in pink for the day which added to the fun, with a competition for the best outfit.
The total raised today was a massive £425 for the charities. A massive thank you for all the great support of the staff here at Christies Care.
A special thank you to all who donated prizes for our raffle:
